The Gulf of Tigullio is a succession of marvelous inlets and hamlets of rare beauty

Villa Edoardo consists of a compact factory building, divided on three floors in addition to the funds and attics. The ground floor, as well as the first, presents a rich tempera decoration with evident eclectic characters that characterize the various rooms with bright red tones and decorations inspired by classic '' Pompeian '' themes and late romantic with 'medieval' references '. The Venetian floors are richly decorated with beautiful floral designs and Florentine lilies.

The main entrance consists of a double ramp that starts from the square in front, is now used as a main entrance to the apartment 2. The square in front has become the garden for the two apartments on the first floor. The loggias at the level of the living rooms have become the terraces of the two apartments which offer a beautiful view of the Gulf of Tigullio towards Portofino. The main entrance of Villa Edoardo has been moved to the back, which is accessed by a staircase that is next to the parking area at the entrance to the garden.

To access the upper floors, a beautiful Carrara marble staircase has been maintained and restored with a beautiful, richly decorated wrought iron handrail. In view of the restoration we have also included a convenient lift to easily access the floors above On the third floor, once used for bedrooms and services, today there are two apartments with small windows that enjoy a magnificent view of the Gulf.

The decorated ceilings on a wooden support were almost lost due to the demolition of some branches on the roof. Thanks to the parts remained intact we were able to reproduce them with the old decorations.

The elevations, inspired by a marked mediaeval eclecticism, are characterized by the contrast between the plastic elements, cement conglomerate, and the colored plasters in a false brick facing and enlivened by heraldic elements in correspondence with the large windows with two mullioned windows. The crowning, interrupted by mullioned windows is affected by a colorful frieze with geometric elements. The large roof in Marseilles tiles is supported by stucco shelves. The ground floor has a uniform face treated with smooth ashlar.
